How can a post-secondary partnership help provide support, strategy, and research to aid the continued development of the Public Works Climate Resiliency Program?
Project Description:
As part of the Climate Resiliency Program (Resilient Works) that Public Works at the City of Hamilton is currently developing, this challenge will focus on three projects that are designed to help forward the Resilient Works and provide complementary support strategy and research in the areas of enhanced community connection, collaboration, and partnership, as well as an outlook on the changing aspects of climate change response in a COVID-19 world.
The three projects included in this challenge are:
1) The creation of a post secondary partnership and engagement framework for Resilient Works
2) An in-depth analysis on how community response to a pandemic can be applied to managing the climate crisis
3) An outlook on the status of climate change priorities in a COVID-19 world and how this has/will impact future direction, communication, and financial support for climate positive programs like Resilient Works.
