The Fall 2023 Project Showcase will be held IN PERSON at CityLAB December 8th from 1 PM - 4 PM. Every year each CityLAB project group is asked to showcase their project at the Project Showcase. This is an opportunity for students, faculty, Hamilton community members and City officials to come and learn about the innovative projects co-created throughout the semester.

The Winter 2023 Project Showcase will be held IN PERSON at CityLAB April 6th from 10 AM - 1 PM. Every year each CityLAB project group is asked to showcase their project at the Project Showcase. This is an opportunity for students, faculty, Hamilton community members and City officials to come and learn about the innovative projects co-created throughout the semester.

• Event will be on the Hopin platform. Attendees including students, faculty, Hamilton community members and City officials will have ability to view projects in “booths” (similar to a breakout rooms).

• Groups will all have a 10-minute LIVE portion to present and answer questions (learn more under “What is Expected the Day of the Event”).

Join us for a screening and discussion regarding a 2022 documentary called Priced Out: Canada's Rental Crisis by The Fifth Estate. For four decades The Fifth Estate has been providing engaging documentaries with "in-depth investigations that matter to Canadians". This documentary digs into the question of "why we are losing affordable housing?" "One in three Canadians rents their home; while much of the focus has been on the rising price of buying a home, rental prices are skyrocketing, too; examining what's driving rental prices up and what is driving some people out of their homes."
