What do rural dwellers 55+ identify as their transportation needs and what are some of the solutions they identify?
The City of Hamilton has an Age Friendly Hamilton Plan and one of the seven goal areas is related to transportation. Access to transportation in the rural areas of the city has been identified as an issue and the population in the rural areas are aging and we are looking for potential solutions to put forward.
Goal: The information that the students gather, synthesize, and develop recommendations through, will be used to inform the revised 2020-2025 Hamilton Age Friendly Plan, specifically the goal related to transportation.
