Budgeting and Reporting Software Analysis

Researching opportunities that may be available to assist the City to improve the functionality of its budgeting and reporting systems.

Project Description:

The City of Hamilton wishes to maximize the capability of its budgeting and reporting system as demands on the current processes continues to grow. Staff is interested in reviewing ways that the current finance software system could be better utilized which could help reduce manual processes and data manipulation in other programs such as Excel. This project also shall review the budgeting and reporting software programs that are being used by other cities across Canada and the USA and best practices to make full use of the program.
