How can the Corporate Facilities and Energy Management Division better manage contracted vendors to improve service delivery?
Project Description: The Corporate Facilities and Energy Management Division (CFEM Division) with the City of Hamilton is responsible for the operations and maintenance of 700+ physical facilities, ranging from Public Works sheds to residential care facilities. Maintenance and repairs, both routine and unexpected, require the management of numerous contracts & vendors to ensure quality service delivery and safety at each of these sites. As such, the goal is to ensure that all operational contracts that have a preventative maintenance (PM) component are accurately captured within ARCHIBUS (i.e. CFEM Division’s facility software management software program), and subsequently into Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) (i.e. future operations software management system) which would be done by reviewing contracts that have a PM component, ensure the information is accurately captured, prioritizing the PM’s, and reporting of our vendor contracts and work orders.
