Surbhi Rao (She/Her)
Hello! I am Surbhi and I am in my third year of the Arts & Science program at McMaster University.
I applied to CityLAB SIR to learn more about Hamilton and practice applying the theory we learn in the classroom to real-world issues. I have enjoyed connecting with students who are similarly passionate about climate justice and community engagement and learning from their interdisciplinary perspectives. CityLAB SIR is broadening my understanding of what is possible in a community by showing me a variety of ways to learn and make change.
In my free time, I love playing the guitar, cello, and banjo (poorly), learning French, and exploring Hamilton.
