Matched: Contract Management Process Improvement

How can we better manage contract vendors and their compliance with tasks to improve service delivery?

Project Description: The Corporate Facilities and Energy Management Division with the City of Hamilton is responsible for the operations and maintenance of 700+ physical facilities, ranging from Public Works sheds to residential care facilities. Maintenance and repairs, both routine and unexpected, require the management of numerous vendors to ensure quality service delivery and safety at each of these sites. However, there is not currently a consistent system in place to support the efficient review, prioritization, and reporting on progress for each of the contracts and the associated work. As such, the goal is to ensure all operational contracts that have a PM component are accurately captured within ARCHIBUS (and subsequently into EAM) which would be done by reviewing contracts that have a PM component, ensure the information is accurately captured, prioritizing the PM’s, and reporting of our vendor contracts and work orders.
